My nephew is the starting QB for Bowling Green of Ohio or #BGSU as it is so fondly known...
Anyway, MattyJ #bowNarrow is best known for being the NCAA passing leader and for having over 40 touchdowns this season. He is highly efficient and quick. What you don't know... the rest of the story...
What I believe is most notable about Matt is the fact that he SAT out in 2014. Yes, SAT out - he had a season ending hip injury. What is notable, as I write this, is that it was not career-ending.
The injury wasn't career-ending psychologically or physically. I know a lot has been written in +Hustle Belt about his physical injuries - what should be discussed is that his mental capabilities far exceeded his physical capabilities.
How many sports players have been injured by a thumb, knee, ankle... whatever and had to stay out and the players NEVER got their "stuff" back. This man, this player, got his "stuff" back and more.
What is amazing as he watches his team win and lose is how he carries himself on the field. He is steady - rock steady. It is a joy to watch his this man does not allow the "stuff" to beat him.
He could have easily beat +Ben Roethlisberger's record the other day playing Ball State. In an apparent act of selflessness - I don't know this to be true - I am only assuming - he allowed other team members to get their accolades... Who does this now a days?
I cannot think of any athlete who plays the way MattyJ plays or performs the way he plays and still manages to be a gentleman.
For this, we are all proud. I mean we as the collective fan body that has the privilege of watching you each and every weak and knows that no matter what further accolades you receive... Money or fame won't make you; you are the man that most kids should want to look up to...
I know folks like myself who work really hard to have this kind of strength and don't make it.. This player has what others could only dream of...

Standout sanctuary
Serene, pleasant and calm. These are just few of the words used to describe this place. Being surrounded by green in the home makes one feel at peace and in harmony. One might even be overcome with nostalgia because before the rise of concrete and metal, trees and nature are our only sanctuary. Apart from any emotions it may bring to the surface, the vibrant green has a very attractive appearance.
Whether rain or shine, nature lends character to any space. In this house inIron liege, the beauty of nature is celebrated.
Every room in the home evokes a play of elegance with a choice of black and wood. The home becomes a testament to the strong power of earth and it is a driving force in the world of interior design. The home speaks volumes on the variety of uses and applications of features and the effects may be diverse but the overall look is a space that can be perceived as serene, refreshing and cool . With this given, all rooms have a clean and understated design.
The living room welcomes guests with a black, leathered lazy boy sofa facing a neatly-tucked fireplace. The setting exhibits an air of sophistication, with a casual appeal of a leathered wrapped sofa that adds dynamism in the almost achromatic scheme.
The house is a classic and timeless choice which is furnished with a huge window that offers a clear view of nature. There's an ample daylight coming in from the windows, casting a beautiful glow on the warm setting of the room that occasionally graced with vivid colors.
Let the photos tour you around.
The house has many modern touches such as wood floors, granite bathrooms, bull nosed corners, high baseboards, and a touch faucet. The open floor plan and split bedroom design are ideal for family or guests. The yard features modern tranquil landscaping, and is very spacious both in the front and back, with plenty of privacy. This is a unique lot that is not covered over by trees and as such receives plenty of sunshine. The house looks and feels very new, which is not typical of houses in this neighborhood. The house is located on a quiet street with no traffic or noise. The neighborhood has several parks that are well maintained, and several lakes as well. This is a very family friendly area, and many residents are out jogging or walking their dogs every day. The location is great as its close to many shopping areas such as Walmart, Target, Publix and Kohls. Many great restaurants and bars are also only minutes away. While it is secluded in a quiet neighborhood, in less than 10 minutes you can by on I-10 for travel out of town.

About Havana
Havana is a town in Gadsden County, in the Tallahassee metro area. The name "Havana" was proposed by a local schoolteacher, James Mathewson. Shade tobacco, used in fine cigars, was the major crop in the area at that time. Well known for its many Antique Shops, Art Galleries, and Specialty Shops, this rural community bears little resemblance to the coastal cities. It has a median household income of $37,874 with job growth of 2.34%. Unemployment rate in a town of 1,970 people is 6.5%.
Havana has been named as Florida's friendliest town. It hosts community events throughout the year including a Holiday Festival, Beat Festival, and Havana Day, which celebrates “Florida's Friendliest Town.” Located 14 miles north of Tallahassee in beautiful Gadsden County, Florida, with 36 days below freezing is hardly cold by national standards. Local terrain is rolling, with rich, red soil and forests of live oak, pine, magnolia, and a variety of other subtropical vegetation. Numerous lakes surround the area, and the countryside is famous for its “canopy roads” - where the long road stretches completely and is adorned by overhanging live oak trees. The climate is mild and moist with distinct seasons. Winter brings considerable rain and cloudiness, with temperatures occasionally dropping into the teens. High temperatures and unusual discomfort are commonly experienced in Summer with expected occurence of thunderstorm each day.
Havana's unique charm and small town atmosphere is very inviting. Heading to this part in Tallahassee can be a very interesting detour off something worthwhile. It is a typical southern city which offers laid back, dignified buildings and grid streets with a canopy of large trees, forests and cotton fields. Moreover, it has few college-town amenities, particularly sports, nightlife and healthcare facilities. Home prices haven’t escalated as much as in other Florida cities, and Tallahassee has great value for home and friendly neighborhoods. Because of this, it earned popularity for retirees looking for a pleasant environment with good climate and lots of interesting activities. Thus, strolling to Apalachicola National Forest and beach areas just south of town are many of those that one can experience a surge of energy.
In Havana, 40% of residents are married, and families with children reside in 21% of the households. Half the population of Havana commutes 31 minutes or less to work, with 35% of residents holding white collar jobs and 65% residents holding blue collar jobs. The median age of homes in Havana, FL is 24 years, with 65% of those homes owned, 24% rented, and 10% not occupied. In the previous year, 22 Havana properties were sold. The median sale price of a home in Havana in the previous year was $90,475.
